The plastic tray was never the answer.

Walk into most dental practices with a sore jaw and morning headaches, and you'll be offered a night guard for a few hundred pounds and sent on your way. Go online instead, and you'll find a wall of near-identical brands posting you a tray from an anonymous lab, asking you to guess which material you need.

Neither actually helps you understand what's happening. Are you grinding at night or clenching by day? Is this stress, or your bite, or something that needs a proper look? Nobody was answering the real question — they were just selling plastic.

How is this different from a chemist's night guard? +
A boil-and-bite guard is bulky, loose, and one-shape-fits-all — and a loose guard can actually make clenching worse. Ours is custom-made from your own impressions or scan, in the build that suits how hard you grind, and reviewed by a dentist first.
Do I need to see a dentist in person? +
For most people, no. Our consultation and impression kit handle everything remotely, with a dentist reviewing your case before fabrication. But if you flag something that needs a closer look — jaw locking, certain headaches, signs of a sleep-breathing issue — we'll route you to proper clinical care rather than sell you a device.
What if I don't know whether I clench by day or night? +
That's exactly what the free consultation is for. A few questions about when your symptoms are worst tell us whether you need the Night Plate, the Day Plate, or a different pathway entirely.
How long until my plate arrives? +
Once we have your impressions or scan and a dentist has approved your case, your plate is fabricated in a UK dental lab and posted to you — typically within 10–14 days.
You mention muscle-level treatment — what's that? +
For heavier clenchers, relaxing the jaw muscle itself can ease tension at the source, with the side effect of slimming the jawline. It's offered through our clinics in Jersey, Guernsey and London, and only ever suggested where it's clinically appropriate — never as an upsell.
